Reviews for 2011 Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon

Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

95 points – “The grapes come from the Wilyabrup district, one of the foremost in Margaret River for cabernet. It is only medium-bodied, but has purity, intensity and precise varietal fruit with a mix of redcurrant and blackcurrant flavours enhanced by silky, yet persistent, tannins. Ringbolt must have got the grapes for a song. Drink to 2031.”

James Halliday, James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2015, 1 August 2014

16.75/20, 89/100 – “Chocolate hints on the nose alongside dark berry fruit, then a rich, quite forward cherry fruit palate with some tannin. A balanced, poised Cabernet.”

Decanter, Panel Tasting, May 2014
